He is responsible for driving customer engagement, marketing and acquisition strategies for the group’s digital channel and oversees the management of marketing operations.
He has more than 19 years of experience as a marketing professional. He started his career at Unilever Malaysia where he led the branding teams in various product lines. He has helped grow key businesses into market leadership and has been awarded with numerous business and marketing awards while serving at Unilever for 10 years.
Before joining RHB Bank, he was the head of marketing with HSBC Bank Malaysia for nine years. He supported the overall marketing for the bank and did structural changes to the function to ensure sustainable growth for the business.
He also helped launch the HSBC Islamic Bank franchise, grew the bank’s affluent customer base and commercialised the digital channel for the business.
He has received recognition from the HSBC Asia Pacific Office and been awarded for the best marketing team in the region.
