The MARKies Guidelines
How to enter
Entries for the MARKies can be submitted completed online. Please note that the submission process for the MARKies is separate from the submission process for Agency of the Year.
1. Please download and read The MARKies Entry Guidelines document before you proceed to learn more about the criteria and the process. Do follow the instructions and specific category requirements stated in the guidelines to ensure your entries are submitted successfully.
You may download and use the template provided to prepare your Core Submission Document.
All entries, supporting documents, and required items can be submitted via our
Entry Submission page. The entry deadline is 13 March (EXTENDED).
The campaigns will be evaluated based on the following general criteria:
Describe the creative challenge you were faced with – what was the brief? What was the context? What made this a real challenge? Add in any facts and figures, which bring this challenge to life.
Mandatory information: Start date; end date; key objectives; target audience; key competitors; budget provided
Outline your strategic thinking and your creative idea. What made this inventive and out-of-the-box? Explain the reasons behind this approach.
Mandatory information: Media channels used; core strategic thought; creative expression; creative rationale
Describe how your creative idea was executed, the elements used, and how it was brought to life.
What was the outcome? What evidence/metrics do you have that this was a great creative idea? How did it deliver to your challenge?
