Alvin Lee joins the LEGO Group as Director, Government & Public Affairs, Asia Pacific, and is, based out of the company’s Singapore hub. Alvin joins the LEGO Group from Microsoft Devices and Nokia where he was Head of Communications for Asia Pacific and prior to that Time Warner’s Executive Director for International Relations and Public Policy, Asia Pacific.
The Government & Public Affairs team works with the company’s operating businesses to build and deepen relationships with government and non-government organizations, research institutes, universities, trade associations and consumer groups to ensure that the LEGO Group is aligned to any new regulations and standards affecting our processes and products. Priority issues for Government & Public Affairs include: toy safety regulations and standards, advertising and marketing to children, market access and sustainability, and intellectual property rights.

Lee Kin Seng, 38, began his career with Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) Radio 91.3FM in 2002, holding the role of Director, Programming & Promotions from 2004 to 2007. Kin Seng or KS as he was affectionately known during his radio stint, went on to join Pan Pacific Hotels Group, where he has now been for over six years. In his current role as Director of Marketing & Communications for PARKROYAL on Pickering, Kin Seng spearheaded the launch campaign for the property which has received record coverage and accolades in its very first year. Working as part of the opening team, Kin Seng was responsible for the coordination of all PR and marketing activities, establishing the hotel-in-a-garden as one of Singapore’s most iconic properties. In his previous role as Marketing Manager for Pan Pacific Orchard and Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Singapore, Kin Seng accumulated a vast range of experience.
